For residents facing serious illness, a bed is more than a place to rest — it is where care happens, families gather, and meaningful moments are shared. Our current beds have exceeded their lifespan with mattresses becoming less comfortable, features beginning to fail, and parts unavailable for purchase. We are seeing funding to help support the purchase of new Stryker ProCuity LE beds for each of our eight resident rooms to enhance comfort, safety, and fall prevention while supporting caregivers and families.
The new beds will help enhance safety and reduce the potential for pressure injuries, improve mobility support and repositioning, and provide built-in scales to help monitor health with less discomfort for residents.

Care team members welcome the first updated hospice bed donated to Trillium House to support resident care and safety.
These upgrades will also support caregivers and help ensure residents receive compassionate, high-quality care in a comfortable, home-like environment.
As the need for hospice support continues to grow across the Upper Peninsula, community support is critical. Every donation helps provide comfort, dignity, and peace of mind for local residents and families during life’s most important moments.
