Volunteer Opportunities

Opportunities and times vary and may be accommodated based on your available schedule if needed. They include:

• Compassionate companionship (visiting, reading, playing cards)
• Administrative support (answering phones, greeting guests, helping with mailings)
• Meal preparation and support
• Housekeeping
• Building maintenance
• Grounds and garden maintenance
• Community outreach, fundraising and event assistance
• Music performances (comfort and entertainment for individuals or group events)
• Special group volunteer projects (organizations and businesses)

VOLUNTEER CARE COMPANION

Trillium House has a new program that offers opportunities to gain training and experience in providing hands-on care. Individuals meet with our volunteer coordinator to discuss their interest, complete an application and background check and receive training on the essentials of personal care in a hospice support setting.
