Keeping Dr. Dan’s Promise Alive

When Mrs. S arrived at Trillium House, her family was carrying the emotional and physical weight that so many caregivers know well. Today, instead of worrying about caregiving around the clock, they can spend their time where it matters most—at her bedside, sharing stories, holding her hand, and simply being together.

That is exactly what Dr. Dan Mazzuchi envisioned.

As the founder of Trillium House, Dr. Mazzuchi believed every person deserves compassionate end-of-life care, regardless of their financial circumstances -- no one would be turned away for an inability to pay. His vision continues today through the Dan Mazzuchi Care Fund, which helps ensure families can focus on making memories instead of worrying about the cost of care.

Over the past three years, more than half of Trillium House residents have received financial assistance through the Care Fund. Every gift helps continue Dr. Dan's legacy of comfort, dignity, and compassion.

For a $500 sponsorship, you'll receive:

• Two tickets to the Dale Watson Benefit Concert at Strega Nonna on Sunday, August 9
• Recognition as a Friends of Dan Good Cookie Sponsor
• The opportunity to help provide approximately one night of compassionate care for a Trillium House resident facing financial hardship at the end of life
